What is Qigong?

Qigong meaning ‘energy exercises’ is inclusive of a diverse range of methods with roots in Chinese martial, Taoist and Buddhist arts used for the purpose of health, vitality, self-cultivation, internal power and spiritual development.

Paul teaches methods drawn from many years of practice and as passed to him directly by his teachers, predominantly from the Heaven Man Earth and Ziranmen traditions.

In the beginning the fundamental practices taught are characterised by exercises designed to open and relax the body and simple qigong methods which coordinate breath and movement.

What is Nei Gong?

Nei Gong literally means internal skill. It is a broad term referring to a spectrum of internal work practiced within the Chinese traditions for the purpose of creating an ongoing transformation within the practitioner.

The classic description of this transformation is one from the gross to the subtle, from Jing to Qi to Shen.

The development of internal skill includes the practice of exercises such as qigong, jibengong, song gong and jin gong, as well as various meditations and alchemical practices.
