Calf (gastrocnemius) stretch - heal yourself

The calf (gastrocnemius) muscle can be a hard one to get to (though not as hard as the soleus!). If the calf muscles are tight it can pull on the entire posterior. Here is one way to stretch it.

It is great to receive treatment from a good bodyworker. However alongside this we need to take care of ourselves, to heal and to maintain our body for our self too.
